Following this with great interest. Try Plumbing the reg set to 58, or whatever you're going to set it to, and see how much flow you get in the return line. There's a similiar discussion with some interesting info on the GTO site.

The 8.1l bucket they refer to is the same as the 04-up truck bucket.

Another good thread. I'm sure most have read it, but an interesting source for the wiring hook-up.

I finally finshed my turbo install along with everything else and am happy to report these pumps are working well. I set the regulator to a base of 50 and have it boost referenced after that. I don't have a good way to monitor pressure drop, but I still have injector left at 6600 rpm with 12 pounds of boost on a 410, and I'm using deka 60s.

Nice job Atomic. That SBEC must feel like a beast running 12lbs on a 410. Do you have any ET's yet?

Thanks for the motivation to get my fuel system completed. Now I just need some dry weather. It's been raining like a SOB in CA.

That's what I've been waiting for. Thanks, I'll get on it right away.

I am trying to find a 1 psi (or lower) hobbs switch because I think having both pumps running at an idle condition is basically outflowing the regulator. Even with the stock bucket, I get fuel starvation if the fuel light is on and I give it a lot of gas.

I think you're always going to have that problem, unless you can make the venturi work, somehow. That's the biggest stumbling block to getting these dual pump systems working correctly. Of course, if you keep 1/4 tank of gas, or more, you won't have that problem.
