None of this fuel system stuff made sense to me until seeing these pictures lol. Question...for a dead head system which I guess would be the easiest way to convert a returnless to return, do you have to use a regulator like this MSD Boost Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulators 2938 - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at Summit Racing or could a non boost reference one work also?

i dont disagree with you, but i ran my aeromotive regulator mounted on the frame rail down near the tank and it worked great. it probably wasnt ideal but it was out of necessity due to existing lines and such.
i have since moved it right by the motor, however.

I was reading up on a few fuel system threads about the returnless systems and if you have a 03+ Truck with returnless why couldn't you just buy the older return fuel rail and run a return line the the tank?

What are the issues with doing this or is it just that simple? I guess you'd need to add a FPR if you're running a bigger pump, 03+ sending unit/line junction thingy that all the lines come into outside the tank, and run a return line to the tank, but how hard could that be? Instead if reinventing the wheel.
