I just installed an LSXR and NW DBC 102mm throttle body (and TSP 100mm ls3 MAF) onto my mild h/c lq9 and dropped over two tenths in the 1/8 and 1320.
Very satisfied!
I made a thread on here about it a few months ago.
Biggest improvement IMO is the INSTANT throttle response! And it obviously untapped much more on topend too ( where my truck was lacking a bit), compared to the stock truck intake with a ported OE tb.
Absolutely no fitment issues. I hand port matched the lower shell to my heads, then smoothed the runners to the matched lower shell. Also matched it to the NW TB. Sealed everything up and all is good!
My tuner had no issues with it either.
I don't want to speculate too much, but seems 99% of the fitment and tuneability issues were on some batches of the LSXR-T version.
Very satisfied!
