Default Need help finding the right pump

Well like the title says i need help finding the right fuel pump for my truck. I bought a Aeromotive stealth 340 but my mechanic said that you cant take apart the sending unit and put another fuel pump in. So long story short I returned the pump and Im looking to buy the whole unit the float, sending unit and upgraded fuel pump all in one. Thanks

I have not seen one you cannot take apart, what is your truck? Year, Make, Model, Flex fuel or not etc.

Your mechanic just doesnt want to do anything not strictly by the book. Find a speed shop or do it yourself.
