i think everything's fine actually. Oddly enough my cheapo glows gift fuel pressure guage isn't 100% accurate. With my guage on the regulator (summit brand) set at 58psi my glow shift shows 54psi give or take. I went for another drive, and when I'm seeing about 6psi give or take my glow shift guage is showing 62ish. Had to watch a video of the guage moving to see it going on, and I know it's working because my afr is dropping go 9.9, where before the same conditions I would see 11.0 right before the fuel pressure would drop to low 30s.

So are all you running 450 pumps on stock wiring and fpcm? Heard that you could not do it that way. Need a bigger pump for my supercharged 08 sierra. Currently at 500rwhp and want enough fuel b4 i do any pulley change/tune.

Also you running returned or retunless? What about regulator?

This thread is for converting to return from a returnless system.

We all run a Hotwire kit with the 450 pump.

Sorry Return to returnless. God damn it I hate how my phone always corrects that.

I have a 2005, so I do not have a FPCM. Sorry I can't really offer any advice.

I have an NNBS. Did 2 450's in return less bucket. Basically just gutted it and dropped them in and stainless tie wired everything snug.
Feed line becomes return. Had to add bulkhead to fuel hat.
Made my own hot wire kit. Basically twin 10 gauge feeds back to pumps. Made my own electrical bulked to pass the wires through and sealed it with gas/E85 safe epoxy.
Fuel pump relays were added and get a signal from the ECM to energize them. Have to use relays with diodes across the coil to prevent collapsing voltage spikes from relay coils deenergizing.
Rails are Holley and took some work to adapt to the ID1300 60mm long injectors and truck intake. Regulator is from Fore Innovations. They also make a bunch of fuel rails for LS intakes now-maybe something will fit the trucks.
FPCM fuse gets pulled and some codes get deleted and other tune related items have to be accounted for. Blackbear did that before I was FI.

Hope this helps a bit.

There's some pretty valuable info in this thread. I wish I'd have stumbled upon it sooner..

Can someone answer a few questions about swapping to the larger bucket from a later model truck....

Can the bigger bucket be used in a 99-02 Tank? Or is the opening too narrow to fit the larger bucket through? Or can the hole be enlarged and used with a modified or later model locking ring?
