Default million dollar fuel ?

up grading fuel system .though had it map out .call to order another fitting .tech guy said i was doing it wrong he said on TURBO SET UP OR HIGH N/A. you should regulate after fuel rails not before .said i should max rails then regulate to prevent fuel starving and if regulator quit fuel want shut off.WHAT THE DEAL ANY ONE ???????????

Tell us about your system plans. I wish more people would post their fuel system choices. Mine is so stock. I need it all. ha ha

The stock 99-03 fuel systems are really robust IMO. For gasoline with meth I think they're very capable. But I've tapped it out on ethanol around 800 rwhp.

you can get away with regulating before the rails if you are under 1000hp or so. the correct way to do it is regulate after the rails.

Regulating before the rails is sort of like trying to maintain the height of a river after a dam. You can do it with sufficient flow, but it is not as accurate as maintaining the height of a river before the dam. I have mine after the rails.

i guess it be done both ways .i though it was ok before rails,since thats how n.o.s and carbs are done (pre solenoids and pre fuel bowls)

if youre not looking for an all out setup like said above, youll be fine with regulating before the rails, just keep the regulator as close to the rails as possible

If you regulate before the rails, what pressure will you have in the rails? The only way to set it correctly is a fuel pressure regulator after the rails. Only then you will know the pressure in the rails.
