I installed a aeromotive 340 fuel pump on my Silverado and now its taking to long to start. Do I have to re tune? or something was not installed right?

 

If its anything like the magnafuel pump on mine it doesn't have a check valve to keep the system pressurized. So unless you turn the key to the on position to prime the pump or install an inline check valve the starts will be extended.

 

Thanks for the info. had me worried for a bid. Everytime I do and upgrade it comes with more issues.

 

cycle the key twice then it will fire
