Drilled a hole in the rear. The pump only runs when I'm above 5psi, and the back of the tank is where all the fuel will always be at that point. I could take a pic sometime if you want. Think I tapped the hole for 3/4 pipe and used some epoxy also. Never leaked or had any issues.
Any part numbers for the fittings?

I did the same thing for my return line into the top of the tank. Granted it is only holding fuel back when the tanks full but hasn't leaked a bit. Magnafuel MP-3014, it has an o-ring and rubber gasket, worked well.

Haha, no I didn't use a bulkhead fitting. I would recommend it if you have access to the inside of the tank. I just used a brass reducer fitting from home depot. 3/4 pipe to 1/2 pipe with a hose barb fitting. Like I said, it's never leaked and has been in there for about 4 years. The plastic is pretty thick on the tank. Gives you some good material to tap into.
