Holley Hi ram
#2
Have a hi ram on my 370 in my 49 F1 and it’s def less in the low-mid range vs the Tbss intake but pulls harder up top. Overall the Tbss intake performs better but the looks of the hi ram make up for it lol

I can't seem to find/remember which series it was, but one of the engine mythbusting youtubers out there did a dyno comparison between a stock variant of intake vs a high ram sheet metal style just like Holly's and found that it lost torque on the low end and didn't really show any considerable gains until beyond 6k.
Found it.
Found it.

just stick with the stock intake, car intake isn't any better and like the Holley looses low end tq. How come you shift it at 6800? Seems high for a stock head 5.3. A FAST LSXRT intake would be your next best bet but for the price of those I would just spray the truck lol.

I have a cammed 6.2 L9H Look at my sig.
looking for a little more top end, plenty of
low end. want to shift a little power upstairs.
going to have my tuner try to retune the VVT
for a diff power band. the truck int looks to fall
off to fast at higher RPM's
LSA swap sometime in late 2018
