Fuel Pump/System Troubleshooting
#1
I need a little troubleshooting help from some more knowledge people than myself. I have been driving my truck for most of the winter and this summer so far, It has a Walbro 450 return style fuel system I installed. The issue I am having is a few days ago it randomly started to not start or show fuel pressure on my gauge when I would turn the truck key into accessory and or try to start the truck. But if I would just keep trying over and over again to start the truck eventually (luckily) it would just randomly fire up and run like normal and show the proper fuel pressure. But its now happening more often and it will only eventually fire up after numerous start attempts. Sometime not even showing pressure on my fuel gauge until after the truck has fired up. Can anyone give me some input on where you think the issue is. The system only have about 3000 miles on it.

I didn't know they made it. I was talking about their hose that looks like normal reinforced rubber fuel hose that Gates advertises as submersible. It gets soft and splits in short order. I'm not familiar with Gates corrugated submersible hose, and a quick Google search didn't find it.
