Ive looked at that one as well. Being on kind of a budget here, I think the Aeromotive might be a little too much, cost wise, for what im trying to do with the truck. And im not saying that you can have too much fuel either, Im just trying to not spend the price of the truck on this install either, lol.

255 is the smallest out of the 3 pumps. 044 is major modding.. You still have to cut the bucket to get it in there, unless 07 up trucks changed bucket sizes.. I think you can run it inline, be on your way..
Here is a little write up I did when I did my 044

No fault codes when converting the NON RETURN style to a return setup. I did two truck and all of them threw the FUEL PUMP MODULE codes on 07+ Trucks. Is there a way to prevent it when converting.
I cant delete it with EFI Live or HP TUNERS.
And i think id rather stick with the walbro or Bosch since the Aeromotive is still new. I am getting a C6 LS3 twin walbro setup from Lonnie's and he said he wont use the aeromotive till its tested ...

If your on a budget, just pick up a Walbro 255HP and be done with it. You can pick one up for around $100. There's not really any reason to be concerned with hacking up you bucket, its not that big of a deal at all. It only took me a couple hours to sand the bucket down with a dremel the first time I did it, and I had no prior experience with these in-tank setups. I would recommend that you order 1' of Gates submersible efi hose, it will come pre-packaged in a plastic bag and should run $20 a foot. Also, pick up some smooth hose clamps that won't cut into the hose when you tighten them. Other than that, all you have to do is cut the two wires on the factory pump harness within the bucket, and solder/heat shrink the harness for the walbro to it. Polarity shouldn't matter. There you go, $125 factory style in-tank setup that will support 500-550whp no problem.
Also, have you checked the length of your stock injectors to see if you will need spacers for your rails?

That was my plan. I went and bought a 255 but had to bring it back. After doing a little more research, I found out the NNBS has variable voltage fuel pumps, and the 255 wouldnt work. But, my truck is an E85 vehicle and supposidly they have a little bigger pumps than the non E85 trucks, but I dont know for sure. It will all come to light when I get the kit on and go to get it tuned. Then I can make decisions on wether I need to rip out the stock fuel system and go return style from there.

If you are flex fuel, your pump should definitely flow better than a normal pump. I don't even think that magnacharger includes a pump in their kits for flex fuel vehicles, but I could be wrong. I'm guessing that the variable voltage pump has to do with it being flex fuel, but I would think you should be able to tune that out with a COS and set it up to run at a consistent voltage all the time. You should talk to smokeshow and see what he has run into with his truck
