Default Aeromotive 340 longetivity

I am curious to see how the Aeromotive 340 pumps are holding up? I know the Walbro 255s last years but they don't flow as much....

I had a real aeromotive 340, ran it for a few months. It would over heat a shut off. It left me on side of the road too many times! If you are going to use it as a primary pump, don't! If you use it as a secondary pump it wouldn't be bad. I went with a walbro 400 and have had zero problems! This 400 definatly flows more then the aeromotive.

I have had one since they first came out over a year ago. Daily driven and no problems. Not sure why everyone else has had bad luck?

I wouldn't recommend it either, 8 months and it was dead, maybe it was a bad batch, but ya I went back to the Walbro.

Good question about the wiring .

I am curious also , I have installed the aero 340 and RT Hotwire kit last spring and everything is fine so far , but I haven't got to drive the truck a lot this year.
