Yes, a flex fuel pump drops right in, I've done it. There is another thread floating around somewhere where I did a small write up.

It will likely get you pretty far on pump gas, but I'm out of pump again around 13 psi on corn juice. I now think I'm going to T my factory pump and flex fuel pump together. Smokeshow did it a long time ago on his GMT900 with two non-flex pumps and said it supplied all the fuel he would need.

if so how does it work with the FCPM? thinking about getting it if it works with a hotwire kit, but i doubt it will for our non flex fuel applications

Is it just me, or is that link you posted completely busted? Takes me to some strange redirect/search page.

Which pump are you referring to?

fixed. its a sponsor on here selling them but not sure if it will work with our FPCM. You swapped a flexfuel pump right? was it direct swap or did u have to do anything to the bucket? or any changes to FPCM?

I haven't read much about the AEM pumps. I know I've seen Walbro claims their pumps can handle the pulses, but I don't know that anyone has installed one yet on our trucks.

I did swap pumps, electronics and hoses plugged right in. All I had to do was a little trimming to the hat, as the orientation of my factory pump and the new pump was slightly different.

Just added a flex fuel pump to my 07 non flex truck. It is drop in and plug in. But throws codes for fpcm.
