Sorry to see your having all this trouble man . Hopefully you can get a 4L80E to work!

If you do decide to get a GM truck I think the 06 model year chevys look the best IMO. I like the 99-02 model year GM trucks because they are all drive by cable which is easier to work with than dbw which all 03+ gm trucks have IMO.

LOL, your truck doesnt make enough power to break a stock 4l80e.

if you can bolt one to your truck it will be the last trans you buy, guaranteed.

To fuel the fire for your swap, a stock 4l80e with just a shift kit ahve been proven to 700+ rwhp reliably

as posted previously. a STOCK 4l80e will handle 7-800 rwhp.
if you go thru with the swap you will never touch the trans again.

also i would try a different trans builder- try FLT. Ive heard nothing but good things about them.

FYI: Skipperdaddy put down 522 rwhp with a Roush TVS1900 a Pat G spec'd cam no head work, LTs/ORy/Magnaflow on 20s and he has an 09 CCSB with the 5.3/6L80E just a food for thought sir.
oh and he also went 13.1 @ 103 and he let out. so im sure it has 12.9 in it, and can be made faster with a 6.0/6.2 or so or just do some head work/bigger LTs/stall/gears.

ill take my tank over a RC/EC anyday.

if it was me i would swap in a 6.0l and 4l80e or 6l80e with stand alone harness.. then you can have the gm computer control the engine and tranny.

well uprev finally after having my truck for 7 months developed software to hack the tcm/ecu communications and can now alter the line pressure going into the valvebody..
Even the trans in a total stock configuration they cannot get to slip anymore So my truck left thier shop yesterday and off to the trans shop for a full rebuild red eagle clutches, trans-go vb upgrade and will be re-using my ipt 3400 stall converter as well as my ipt cryo treated hard parts..

thank god this damn nightmare is nearly over.. should have truck back by end of next week..
