Fahkin werd!!

Ford droped the ball big time by killing the Lightning off... I'm GM for life, but the L was the one truck that always made me think twice. Hopefully they bring it back someday.

Thanks for the L compliments guys. I know its hard from some of you Chevy guys to admit Ford had something with the L. I respect the LSx series engines, because we have one (in sig), so i have the best of both worlds. Anyway, our motors ARE NOT Forged. Never have, Never will be. Only the 03/04 Cobras got that lucky. We got stuck with some somewhat crappy rods, and pistons. Although, im pushing 14psi to em with no problems, so they arent horrible.

Nah bro, the rods are forged. They're not H-Beams by any means, but they are forged. "Powder Forged" is the term used I believe. I could be wrong. I've seen em apart, but I've never taken one apart myself, so....

+1, we also have forged pistons. Better rods would be nice though.

This is probably true. I see more of the Roush trucks than I do Lightnings around where I live. I do live about 25 miles from a Roush dealer though (Brandon Ford). This could be why.
