What year? I know there's kits out there, but they do require a couple relays and I *think* you might have to rewire the switch as well.

What would be the point of having both burn together, aside from purposely blinding oncoming drivers and potentially causing a crash? The later models use dual filament bulbs and the switch seems to ground one when the other is on. Might not though. If you pull the switch back instead of pushing forward to use the high beams, it may actually light both filaments momentarily. I think doing that for any length of time could blow both bulbs though, if it really works like that.

Btw, wouldn't it be illegal to run both? It's illegal to burn highs when other traffic is within some near distance. Seems if you make them even brighter, the cops might have something nasty to say about it.

its for brighter highs

lows have single light and the lows stay on instead of going off when the highs come on

Be easier just to run Silverstars. Try em. Should be a 9005 bulb.

I did some more digging and you *do* have to rewire the switches. They're not made to take the voltage you see with both on.

I put Silverstars in my truck and they help greatly compared to stock. They are pricey though, for a lightbulb.

Yeah. I'm running Silverstars in all 6 lights up front. 20 for both corners, then 20 a piece for each HL/FL bulb. 100 bucks for all of them, lol. But damn are they worth it.

They're not, they just cost the same.

H/L is a 9007. I know I said 05, but it's 9007. The 9005's are for the fogs...
