Default 2008 4.6

my buddy has a 2008 4 door ford f150...what mods can he do that will help?? i know nothing about fords. looked for a magnacharger but the list only shows them for the 5.4..does he just need to call them and see if they got one?

The 4.6 is a good platform.....people always say go bigger, but there is power to be had out of the little motor. If he wants to go forced induction, I'm not sure if the ones for the 05-up mustang will work or not. It may be more of a custom install than plug and play. However you will see nice gains with intake, exhaust w/ longtubes, port work, cams, and a tune. If that's not enough a 100hp shot of gas is always a good option as well.

NO, the truck in question has a 2 valve 4.6 the mustangs mentioned above have 3 valve heads and the superchargers will not interchange



there is currently no supercharger "kit" available for the NBS 2 valve 4.6 but there are several that will fit and work just fine
