Default 04 4.6 4x4 Needs more power, where to start....

I am new to the ford scene.. Have an 04 4.6 ford with a level kit and some 33s, needs power now, currently a turd. Has a K and N filter, and a magnaflow muffler, thats it..

Where do i start?

Are their tuners out there that can reflash the ECM on these trucks like the GM crowd has..

Truck needs some pep in its step and a little firmer shift..

Supercharger and some headers would be nice too but thats a bit pricey and i presume they dont offer anything for the 4.6 only for 5.4 ...

Any help would be great.. God knows this truck needs it..

Exhaust
Custom tune
Intake
Gears
Electric Fans
U/D Pulleys

I had a buddy who had a 2wd regular cab, built trans(prolly cause it needed rebuild) , handhelp tuner(unknown), longtubes, underdrive pulleys, cai, etc. Ran like 9.20 in the 1/8th

are you asking if yours has them or do newer (05 and up) have them?

Your not junking your truck up by adding E-fans, just dont control it with a toggle switch haha

This truck is the "new body" truck so i guess it is an 05.. It has a clutch fan i know that, but i wondered if they started offering the efans on the newer trucks, that perhaps they were like GM and you could swap to Efans and have the ECM control them..

I'm sure you could do an STS rear mount turbo setup, or find someone to do a front mount turbo kit, that would benefit you by far more than exhaust and bolt ons..

The STS kits are more reasonably priced too

for a giant water sucker they better be cheaper than what they are offered as, the Hellion kit for the Gen2 Lightning is better priced and has room to grow
