Default Yep, another intercooler question

okay, been saving, selling, and putting a few bucks away and plan on getting EFIlive and a Whipple intercooler in the next month or so. I was looking at some supplimental install instructions for the Whipple intercooler, this page specifically...

Can someone tell me if there is a reason why i NEED to have the reservoir tank higher than the intercooler? The reason i ask is i would like to place a larger reservoir tank in the corner but not sure if it will be higher than the intercooler itself if i stick it in the corner. Does it help the pump with the flow or something? The Whipple reservoir just seems so darn small.

To get the devil bubbles out. They're just telling you to hold it up above the I/C when you're filling it.
