Default Is this worth it?

Been looking for a turbo rcsb for a while and everyone around seems to be in Texas which is a little to far for me. So I found this one closer and I was wondering what everyone thinks of this setup. It seems like it would be a good starting point to build on. I'm looking for a street/strip truck putting out about 600rwhp if possible without having to build the bottom end.

So here is the ad

Selling a 06 swb Chevy reg cab 2wd silverado. Truck only has 89,400 miles on it. All the performance parts have around 300 miles one them. The wheels are silverado ss replica 20's and are brand new as well as the nitto tires. The motor is a 5.3. I had the heads ported and polished and put in new comp springs and seals. The cam is a comp ls turbo cam. 227/223 with .614 lift and on a 115lsa. The turbocharger is a sts style rear-mount. The turbo is a billet comp technology oil-less that runs off engine coolant. It's a 67mm with a .81 ar. Front mount intercooler 2.5". Precision 39mm wastegate and a turbonetics bov. Has a 2800 to 3200 stall converter. The fuel injectors are 60lb with a 340lp fuel pump. Changed the rear-end out with a posi trac with 3:73 grears.

I know it doesn't have a built tranny so thats something I would have to get done first. I'm basically just asking what you guys think the truck is worth.

Thanks for any input.

I would be skeptical of anyone trying to sell a vehicle with only 300 miles on the fun parts....if thats the real number, then those are some hard miles. Sounds like it doesnt run right and he wants to get rid of it, but thats just my guess.

It sounds like a fun little truck, 600rwhp might be a little stretch, but it would be a good starting point. Depending on condition of the truck I would say around 10k.

He sent me an idle video and it sounded pretty good from that. I'll just have to ask for some more videos and pics before I make the drive over. Thanks for the input.

Does he have a dyno sheet or any prof that it's making that kind of power?

As said it's probably over exaggerated a little bit.

What is he asking for it?

Said he had it dyno'd when it was set at 5psi made 350 and now its tuned to 11 psi now. Hasn't dyno'd it since it has been retuned. I will ask to see a dyno sheet.

if you do buy it, I would take it to a reputable speed shop (LSx based) and have them give the truck and the tune a look over.

Oh I doubt it is to. I never claimed it did, I was just saying that is where I'd like to be and I would be happy.

Planned on doing that if I do go through with it. I just don't know of any around Indiana, but 1320 performance in Joliet, IL said they would look at it.
