Default wondering what all I need to turbo

Hello i am new to the form. I have a newly modified 08 Silverado. I recently put a cam in it, put 410s in the rear with a Detroit Truetrac differential, upgraded my 4l60E and inserted a 3200 stall, and added longtube headers with y pipe. Now I'm wondering what all is needed to go forced induction. Mainly wanting a turbo. I know i need bigger fuel injectors and a new pump, but I'm only looking for a minimal amount of boost. So, do i need to get forged internals? any input would help.

Money.

No, I'm not being a smartass. Just off the top of my head:

1. turbo kit
2. injectors
3. tuning
4. wideband
5. fuel pressure gauge
6. boost gauge
7. driveshaft (depends on who you ask.....definitely recommended)
8. transmission (not a matter of IF you will break, you will)

Figure about $10-13K if you farm out the labor, less if you can do it yourself.

Same thing, I wouldnt start a turbo project from scratch without at least $10k sitting around to spend. Obviously youll need the turbo kit and turbo. Youll want to go with the On3 kit because of price, but in the end youll be better off going with a kit from KBRacing or Trick unless you really like pulling your hair out and fixing a crappy design.

After that:

-Wideband and boost gauge
-Go ahead and save for a 4l80e swap
-Driveshaft if you plan on going over 100mph
-Fuel system (injectors and pump)
-Exhaust wrap, clamps, hoses, all the stuff you dont think about

$10,000 is about right. Little things will add up. Bigger trans cooler, map sensor, drivers side manifold if you did not keep it, oil pan gasket id drop the pan to install turbo drain fitting. Just be ready to spend a few thousand beyond the kit itself. Good luck let us no if you pull the trigger on a turbo kit.

Amount spent depends on the level at which you want to play.
A stock kit can be done on the min.
Kit,
injectors, and fuel pump
trans. shift kit might be all you need.
gauges huge variable in type and costs.
final exhaust.

My numbers are ground hp. 600at crank would be under 500 at the ground.

Turbo, hotside, coldside, spark plug wires, spark plugs, bov, wg, wideband, boost gauge, fuel pump, injectors, pcv, map, turbo drain, turbo feed, fittings, and tools to tap for oil drain.....Then tune. Then work out little issues here and there.

I did mine on a budget, and i would have saved some money for a quality kit from kb or trick
