On3 and master power turbos are pretty inexpensive.

Yes, too small as everyone mentioned. They were sized for an engine that is less than half the size of yours.

62mm turbos seem to be common for twins, but may be too big for your goals.

I think 62's are too big IMO. That's about 900-1000hp worth of turbo. I'd be looking for something in the 52-54mm area for twins. Should be pretty responsive and still easily make 5-550rwhp, probably 750-800 maxed out.

A single 70mm is really all you need.

wouldn't 2 smaller turbo vs 1 bigger turbo give more response ?

all dpends on turbo kit design and size of turbines


i had twin 6265s on a 5.3 and a 6.0 along with a 6.2

6.2 lit them bad boys up like it was no tomorrow

the 6.0 also lit them up well

the 5.3 lit them up a nice all around power....on 12.5 psi and at 4700lbs i went 130 mph with 6265s
