My vote goes for the ls1, when you said N/A did you also mean no nitrous?

yeah no nitros no boost no nothing for awhile and no headers nothing all i could do would be use ls1 heads and the cam in my sig and the forged 402 bottom end. but the ls1 if i forged the rods and pistons for a little over a grand then i would have the cash to put the turbo in and a stall and some rims and tires.

A forged ls1 can make crazy power with a turbo.

turbo will make more power. Plus that cam is too small for a 402 imo.

Think of it this way -- for each atmosphere of boost you add, you add the n/a cubes to the total... So at 14.7psi, you add the equivalent of another 346 cubes to the 5.7 (so 692ci). That's gonna make a lot more power than the extra 56 cubes n/a -- especially with such a small cam.

The stock crank can handle all the power you want.

I think the aluminum ls1 block would be what you want.
