Default Will it make 500 rwhp?

6.0L LQ4 with stock short block and heads. 112 radix with 220/581 115LSA comp cam, comp springs and pushrods. Long tube headers with true 3" duals (no cats), 2.8" pulley, 90mm throttle body with modified JTube. Snow stage II boost cooler.

I'm wondering if I should go bigger on the cam. The cam was really strong on the low end when it was in the 5.3. Should be even stronger low end wise on the 6.0. I'm not sure a bigger cam would help if I'm about at the limits of what the 112 radix can pump. I'm hoping for 500+ rwhp. The same equipment on a 5.3L with 3.1" pulley and stock throttle body made about 420. Is 500 a realistic goal?

I'd say it's all up to the charger. I know you have more than enough engine to make over 500 with a turbo. Should do it with 10-12PSI. Will that charger support 12PSI on a 6.0L and still be in it's zone?

I would think a bit more, guess it depends on the dyno and the tune.
I make ~518 on the 5.3 with no nitrous, meth 3.2" pulley and GT2-3 cam.

J's01Silverado makes mid-500 with a similar setup, i think he's running a 2.9" pulley?

Is that GT2-3 cam magic? Seems to be smaller than mine, but seems to make more power.

Less overlap more exhaust bias.

I'm hoping for 8+psi. I don't think it will do much more than that with the bigger cam and open exhaust. With the 5.3L and 3.1" pulley, it made 9 psi.

you have the ingredients to make 500rwhp, i think mostly in your case it depends on the tune and the dyno.

The old 1999 Magna Charger shop truck had a stock compression 6.0 short block with a GT2-3 cam and a set of stock ported heads with a 112 and a 2.8 pulley, stock MAF and T body, built 4L60E and a yank converter with 3.90 gears and 28x12.50 et streets and it made 540 rwhp on 100 octane with 26 degrees of timing and it ran 11.70 @117 with a 1.57 60' almost every pass. I think the low MPH was from the stock MAF and T body but this was 4 or 5 years ago and a lot has evolved since then.

So...a cam with more intake and exhaust duration and lift can make LESS power?
