Default why such a differance in e.t.???

I am not an avid post person in this section but i do a lot of reading and looking at people's sig's, away it seems one guy can be running 10# and be running mid to high 13's while the next guy with similar mods is going mid low 12's??? is it wieght 4x4 to 2wd, gears, traction, just really starting to wonder if when i get my set up done its going to be a 14.0 turd after much money and time was invested. please ed-u-cate me.

Weight, Gears, Traction, Elevation, Humidity, Track Prep, Driver. The color of the helmet they wear.
Bigger list but I'll leave some for others.

A big thing to notice on this forum is that it is across america, which translates to a big difference in elevation, which is DA in the end.

Tune would be another big difference. A tune can be a night and day difference when done properly.
