I think I personally proved that wrong. I was making great reliable power with my bone stock truck at 8 psi of boost with your Stage 2 kit.

When I wanted more, obviously I had to prepare the rest of the truck for it.

These are good points, not everyone is looking to build a racing truck, I know in my case I just wanted more power for towing capacity efficiency. I wasnt going to towm much more weight, just the 6.0 Silvy often had it's tongue hanging out on hills, etc.

At least thats my take on it and what I did.
This... And even with superchargers I mention to plan for trans work if there is a 60e involved. Obviously if you already have a 80E or a 6L80/6L90 then its a bit different.

Also, most supercharger "Kits" come with fuel system upgrades and tuning. I have yet to see a turbo kit do the same. Sooo right off the bat your list starts. Injectors, fuel pump ( Depending on year and existing fuel system) tune.

I get tons of txts and messages about my truck and the build thread I posted.

The tune is just as important as the kit. I try expressing that as much as possible. Pay for a quality kit and pay for a quality tune = WIN WIN

ps - Id have to look back and see what my mileage was when I bought my truck but I think I am up to about 50-60K miles of boosted trouble free daily abuse.
