Why got to have list for turbo builds are longer?

I think I personally proved that wrong. I was making great reliable power with my bone stock truck at 8 psi of boost with your Stage 2 kit.
When I wanted more, obviously I had to prepare the rest of the truck for it.

These are good points, not everyone is looking to build a racing truck, I know in my case I just wanted more power for towing capacity efficiency. I wasnt going to towm much more weight, just the 6.0 Silvy often had it's tongue hanging out on hills, etc.

a 4l60e is a ticking time bomb no matter what type of FI is used. The internal hard parts are flimsy compared to a 4l80. Yes, you can go boosted and drive around just fine on a stock trans, however, when it blows up on you and you're stranded you will wish you ponied up for a built trans. At least thats my take on it and what I did.
Also, most supercharger "Kits" come with fuel system upgrades and tuning. I have yet to see a turbo kit do the same. Sooo right off the bat your list starts. Injectors, fuel pump ( Depending on year and existing fuel system) tune.

The tune is just as important as the kit. I try expressing that as much as possible. Pay for a quality kit and pay for a quality tune = WIN WIN
ps - Id have to look back and see what my mileage was when I bought my truck but I think I am up to about 50-60K miles of boosted trouble free daily abuse.
