With the kind of torque you can make with the new maggies a converter is a must. I wanted mine tight for the street and I am really happy with a 2400 stall on my truck that averages 650 ft/tq at the flywheel.

My converter is a bit wierd. It flashes at 3,000 rpm in 2wd, but in 4wd it flashes at 3,800 rpm.
