The whipple comes with an add on computer that will trick the factory PCM into all kinds of things. If you are going to get a custome tune and larger injectors you don't need the whipple electronics (computer). In fact, the new whipple kits will be sold without any additional electronics.

The way to get something done at whipple is to tell her you think you are having mechanical difficulty. Ask to speak to tech support about it. When you baffle them sufficiently they will send you to a guy named Steve. (you might want to try and ask for him up front). He is the cheif engineer there. He's the only one that can really answer questions any better than the teleprompter lets them.

He is extremely opinionated and a little gruff, but can provide you will all the information you need and directy you how to get the individual pieces you need also.

You might want to try taking the little pulleys to auto zone and see if they can match them. I go to a local fastener supply company for all bolts etc. Then a can of paint and your whipple is fresh.

good luck getting the pulleys from autozone, or pep boys, or vip auto, or Napa. I went to do that myself today because the bearrings are gone in mine. I found the smooth pulley, but nobody can figure out the 6 rib pulley. mine is 3 1/2 inches. I found 3 1/4 and 3 3/4. or 76mm or 90mm something like that. I think what i need is 82mm. Nobody has it.

The bearings are gone in mine also. You shouldn't need the same diameter. I would think you could make any diameter work. You may need a different belt size, but that's not a big dea either.

Bryan at PCMforless will do a great job for tuning for your Whipple. I have a Whipple on a 5.3L and he tuned it (mail order first) and got it pretty close. They I had him dyno tune it and we found an additonal 20 hp.

One thing you will want to think of down the road is getting an intercooler. I am looking into this now but so far nothing solid yet.

Don't send Whipple your s/c. It's amazing how everyone that calls there (me included) is told they need the new Whipple craptronics and to freshen up the s/c with a rebuild. I did need the s/c rebuilt because a seal let go inside but I ended up getting a new replacement for about the same price it would have been for a rebuild. You are doing the right thing by upgrading all 8 injectors and going with a custom tune.

Good luck.

If you order anything from whipple ask for a tracking number,i waited 10 days and
the shipper was about to send it back, called whipple and they said $30. to re ship
a 3 lbs part.I would of been faster and cheaper if i caught the bus to pick it up.
Good luck

Thanks for the Head's up...I know not to send it to Whipple if nothing is wrong with it,But if it was to go in person and hand deliver it to Rhonda and have her Freshen it up her self then it would be worth it...She is Hot I've seen her posing in a mag for Whipple Supercharger Promo ...Along with this Package I bought it also came with "Coolingmist" Intercooler...If you want to see what it look's like just Google Coolingmist & I have the Single stage,I'm not sure if url's are ok to post here??
