Whipple Pulley?
#11
Ok, for what its worth here are the dimensions.
Overall thickness was measured at 1.135" (with a 3/4" belt, the guards are approx. 0.1925"
The offset from the back of the pulley "ring"(outer diameter) to the back face where the pulley bolts to the hub is: 0.335".
Not that you might need the info but, the offset from the front of the pulley "ring" to the front inner face (where the bolts go through) is: 0.500" so the overall thickness of the "inner ring" is 0.300"
Also, the actual "offset" from the Center of the belt to the back mounting face is approximately: 0.2325"
I hope that makes sense. I don't know what the parts of the pulley would be officially called.

Whatever the case I'll let you know. Right now I don't know if it will matter or not, but the company he did order the 3.375" though went ahead and issued a PO number to Whipple for the 3.125", so maybe with a PO in hand it might make a difference...... Who knows? Whipple did say they had several orders in already and that hasn't seem to sway their minds yet, so a single PO might not do anything.

I have tried talking with them on two different occasions regarding getting a whipple on my 2011 6.2 Yukon Denali flex fuel. both times they told me basically they would sell me their product with no support. A kit is not out and check back. I really want to use the whipple but every time I speak with them or hear something about their lack of customer support it turns me off. I have a shop and capabilities of getting my own kit pieced together but I have not been able to talk to anyone long enough for them to tell me what I would need.
Sorry to get off topic on your pulley situation, ihope you find the pulley you need.
If anyone could give me some info or opinions on doing this I would appreciate it. I would love to use the whipple 2.3 , I'm ready to do it and need to either go one way or the other Get the whipple going or go with a procharger or magnuson.
Thanks

I didn't do the install on this supercharger, but listening to the guy that did do it and the issues he ran across, I believe the main difference between the kits for a 2010 and the newer models is the MAP sensor. With it you have a couple options, either modify the hole for the newer MAP sensor, switch back to an older style or use a threaded in bung and mount the sensor divorced away from the supercharger itself, possibly on the fire-wall or wherever.
One other difference would be the positioning of the MAF sensor, but if you’re still using the factory box with the MAF in it, it will be a non issue if you’re using a kit for an older model.

I wasn't aware that there was a difference in MAF design between 2010 and 2011. I kept the factory air box with MAF mount anyway and the kit includes the pipe and hoses to connect between the factory box and the throttle body mounted to the supercharger. I recently installed a Volant intake and it was a pita because the outlet from the air box is slightly off from where the factory outlet was. I ended up turning my Whipple intake pipe upside down and cutting about 1/2" off the end and it fit great.

I don’t recall the exact year change-over for the MAF sensor placement and styles; I was more in stating some of the issues of using a kit designed for a different year model. The Whipple kit my boss had installed was previously installed on a ’08 model that had the separate MAF, whereas my bosses truck being an ’11 model using the card style in the air-box itself. I haven’t seen any of the newer Whipple kits to know whether or not their tube includes a spot for the MAF or if they are expecting you to continue the use of the stock piece. It just may be one of those things that slightly complicates running a aftermarket cold-air set-up. Of course there are ways around the mounting issue, it just something else to possibly have to work around.
