i am on the way to the movies with the lady a while ago and i decide to get into it a little and watch my afr( good at 11.1) and i slowly move the pedal to wot. i think the most boost i saw was like 7 psi. it didnt feel very fast either. so im thinking it could be belt slip but kind of doubt it since im using a reichard pulley thats smaller than the previous vortech pulley i had( vortech was a 3.1 making 11 psi and this is reichard 3.0 making 7 psi) but it could be the belt im not sure. is there any way to check to seee where im losing the boost?
my new motor is lower compression and does breathe alot better with p&p heads and a cam. but i didnt think id lose this much boost.
btw my motor has over 800 miles on it.

the cubes didnt hardly chaneg at all on mine though but 4 psi is alot . espeacially with a 3.0 pulley i think i should be making more . the 8 rib set up is looking to be my next mod but man its expensive. i just want to know why. i think the is the last bug i need to work out. i fixed my tb i think i fixed my oil leak and now this.

im pulling 15 inches at idle . but after thinking about it i didnt get it past 5k rpms so that could also be my culprit being a centrifigal. the belt slip may be an issue but ill just need to get the smallest possible pulley i can find.

I'm thinking you didnt stay in it long enough, with that centrifugal it most likley would have picked up a few more psi if you had stayed in it. I agree with Dewy......stay in that **** and report back
How hot was the weather? That will cost ya maybe 1 psi or so too.
Again.....run that biatch to redline and let us know
