well I'm mounting it after the intercooler to quite it down some when i had it mounted before the intercooler it was retarted loud inside the truck on the highway drove me nuts

The reason I prefer to be close to the TB is because the air is rapidly moving upstream. When the throttle body closes, the air comes to an abrupt stop and the only place to exit is the BOV. When the BOV is close to the TB it puts less stress on the blade and shaft. That is just my opinion though. It would be nice to see some actual testing.
