where to hook boost gauge up at

The STS Meth kit gets its boost reference from the brake booster. They send a T to fit the vacuum line going to the booster with a 1/4" nipple. You take the line off the booster push the fitting into it and use a short piece of hose they send to attach the T to the booster. I suppose you could just cut the vacuum line near the booster or anywhere convenient and insert the T. The trick I guess is finding a source for the T that will fit the booster vacuum line with a 1/4" nipple to attach the gauge or meth kit to.

It is a fitting glued to the side of the intake manifold about 3/4 of the way back and near the top of the manifold just under the edge of the engine cover. It has 2 triangular shaped arms coming off of it with a nipple in between them.

got it hooked up and runnin just one more question at idle does all yalls gauges read about 20 on the vac side of the gauge, this might be a dumb question but just wantin to check and see if it is hooked up right, thanks

Yes it should read idle vacuum between -9 to -10 psi = 18 to 20 inch of mercury. Your gauge is calibrated to read vacuum as inch of mercury.
