Didja get it yet? Let us know how much tuning a bigger TB needs.

Almost? I grew up working on motorcycles. When I got into cars, the car guys didn't like me bad-mouthing their ancient push rod technology.
I knew it was only a matter of time before pushrods were a thing of the past. Now 30 years after my introduction to pushrods, and they still won't die. Who'da thunk?

Heres the latest dyno with the new 102mm TB and some fuel system upgrades.

I'll be taking it to the track as soon as the weather breaks.

On a dynojet these numbers would be around 620rwhp and 555 rwtq.

Heres a cold start before this final adjustments.

434 LSX
L92 heads with slight valve work.
228 cam
stock 3.73 gears
20" Rims and tires
convertor is supposed to be 3200 or so
This run showed 9.6psi max with an average of 8.2psi

This engine combo is making about 715-HP 645-TRQ on the engine dyno. My 4L85 eats up around 30%.

Try the Goodyear Gatorback belt. I tried the Gates on my Maggie and also on Vortechs I ran in the past and I had much better luck with the Gatorback. It grabs wayyyyy better. Good luck.

ANY TRACK RESULTS YET? ;-)

[QUOTE: Im not familar with his setup. What type of tensioner is he running? Any pics? I am having a little bit of belt slip so far. I'm hoping that changing over to a Gates belt will solve the issue but if not I might need something else.[/QUOTE]
