What would cause an increase on Boost(psi)
#1
ok so my truck got out of the shop on a low setting 5psi..running like a champ...after a week or so,now its reading 10psi and yes it is doing the 10-11psi thing is running real hard, but its not on the safe side.
so what things should i look for or check, heres what i have done
i bought a new switch for the boost controller and that didnt help...i went over all vacuum lines etc there all intact.
last thing im guessing maybe the wastegate??its a Precision66WG...my boost control is a AMS500....
any tips info be appreciated

There could be a problem with the boost controller. If you bypass it, that eliminates that as a variable to go wrong. What kind of a wastegate do you have? If you have one with a torn diaphragm, it can cause an overboost. I would hook a handheld vacuum pump to the wastegate to make sure it holds vacuum.
Did you do anything that could have restricted the exhaust? Is the vacuum supply running to the wastegate good, and free of any leaks?

oh ok.wastegate is precison66mm,i will try that hand vacuum trick,i might even just remove it and check it.
no i didnt mess with the exhaust...yea all the vacuum lines look good, but im going to double check it all.
thanks

That just looks like moisture splattered out of the VBand clamp. Nothing to worry about IMO. Sounds like a boost controller or wastegate problem.... Maybe a restricted wastegate exhaust if everything else is working as it should.

Dont buy a new gate yet. Run the line from the bottom port on the gate directly to the intake manifold first. If that doesn't fix your problem, remove the gate and take it apart to inspect the diaphragm because it will probably be torn.
