Just wondering what tubing most guys use, Mild Steel or Stainless Steel? This will be my first build.

Thanks.

On hot side we use stainless steel. You can use mild and our lowmount stuff does. But you will need to coat it or it will rust..And mild will not live as long as stainless and is cheaper.

What type of welder do you own? Mig (With or without gas) or Tig

I have a mig with gas. I'm thinking of using Mild Steel for my first build, I have some stainless, but damn it's high, even though I got mine from work.
Plan on using the stock manifolds, front mount, 3" DP.

Thanks.

On our kits we use 321 stainless on the front manifold to turbo connections, then 304 for downpipes. Cold rolled mild for cold pipes.

Anyone who thinks they want a turbo system for cheap by using cheap parts in for some hurt in the long run.
