i also need to know what size pulley i'll need for the radix to make 10psi. i have a 224/228 586/576 114lsa cam, mild p&p on my heads and long tube headers. i was thinking about a 2.9. is this close or is it definately gonna be smaller. thanks

5.3L?
a 3.0" on a 5.3 got me 9psi with 2.02intake & 1.67exhaust valves, along with a pretty big exhaust. I'd say 2.9 will do you fine.

what cam were you running? and would the bigger valves make you lose boost?

i was running about the same cam, it was a 222/224 if I remeber right. I think...maybe it was a 224/226, I forgot. Your's is a little larger duration, you may loose some boost, but it's not lost power.

Larger intake valve would make more boost, but larger exhaust makes less. More flow in would equal more boost. But in the FI world, getting the exhaust out fast is very important as well. So i only stated those facts to give you an idea of what was going in my setup...my intake/exhaust IMO was allowing a more flowing setup up. So 10psi for you is doable...close, but doable.
