What size motor is best with TWIN 60-1s
#11
Thanks for the fix, and the info. I was hoping you or the likes of a few others that know a lot would help me out. Weren't you on the solstice forum for a while? Anyway, I wonder what the detailed specs are on mine, all I know at this point is the 60-1 with the .58 A/R. They were for another project that went south, an were picked out by the previous builder. Which motor would you consider? I can get a 4.8 less than 80K for about 800. They want close to 1400 for a 6.0 with the same mileage. Thinking on what my setup might be I could use the extra money to make the 4.8 give me what I need instead of spending money on the 6.0.
I see you ran them on your 408 and 427 with the .48 A/R, if thats the case then maybe the 6.0 would be better.
Thanks

My bad, i thought you were only using 1 at the first sight of the thread. twin 60's would be a blast on a 5.3 or 6.0 pretty much instant boost! You wouldn't be able to push them far but it would be more than enough IMO

I'd do a 5.7 or 6.0. yeah, it's $600 extra, but it's also 74 cubes, plus, the heads are better (317s).
