I think its been bad for some time. BBP has always said I have really poor fuel quality and it effects the tune. They say oil being ingested can also be causing the pinging they see.
Read above asking questions.

Turbo designs on the compressor side is sucking air in.
If oil from the cartridge got to the compressor side.
It would smoking a huge amount. because it also be going out the exhaust side.

Is the truck smoking? Yes or no.
Is there oil in the bottom intercooler pipe? Yes or no
If you are venting the v/c how are they vented?
Just sent you a pm before I saw this.
Do your filters come oiled? I have never oiled it also there is no oil on the filter side of the pipe just the turbo side.

Hard to tell if the truck is smoking in winter but the exhaust does have an oily smell to it. This could just be because i have no cats as well. Ill pull it in the shop tomorrow and check for smoke.

Last time you askes I pulled the pipe just before the intercooler and it had oil in it. I will pull it off tomorrow and check again.

Both valve covers are run to a vented catch can. There is never much oil in it but does collect a bit of water.

The oil on the compressor housing is oily. The stuff pooled in the 90* elbo is sticky. Thanks for helping.

I get the same little pool of oil in my intake tube. Tuner, Local shops, and other forums, have said it is blow-by. However, I dont have a vented catch can, mine is just open. interested in what the outcome of your issue is.

Some pics of the intercooler piping between turbo and cooler. A lot of oil.

I do not notice any smoke coming from my exhaust. I pulled it in the shop and revved it up a couple time. Did not see anything.

I don't see how the air cleaner could have caused this. I have never oiled it.
Any more thoughts?
