Default what do you think about this ebay turbo?

I was just fooling around on ebay and came across this t70 . I would like to have a starting point to build my own setup. I was wondering if you think this will work for just the turbo and maybe even the intercooler, to start my build. oh i almost forgot to mention. I am a salesman at a motorcycle shop so it doesnt take a rocket scientist to realize im BROKE! lol. hence the ebay shopping

It looks like something my turbo would eat for breakfast...... When it comes to parts like this, I always go with a reputable, known company. Just my $.02

I would agree. I wouldn't cut corners on something like that.

T3 housing, with a 70mm,(which I highly doubt),, wow uuu can you say backpressure. That thing is beyond JUNK!

What brand of bikes do you sell?

BTW, do a search on Borg Warner Budget turbos if you want cheap....

VVVVV....The dude right below me sells the Borg Warners budget turbos..I would P.M him when you are ready.....VVVVVV

T3? It would lift the heads with all the back pressure. Or it would just come apart and screw your motor up.

too much back presure. it wouldn't blow up, just fall on it's face up top. the turbo itself might blow up and take out your motor but that has nothing to do with it having a t3 exhaust housing.

some of the parts on that places site are silly cheap. i have to think they are all junk but it might be worth ordering something just to see. they have the basic 12x24 intercooler for $76

Too much back pressure = too much heat = hot spots in heads = KR = Dead engine...

A T3 will only support so much flow, around 600hp MAX and it isnt even close to being able to keep up with a 70mm. The biggest you can get from garrett is a 60mm in t3 form.

so, you guys are saying that this would be too small for a rear mount turbo on a 5.3L? I'm not interested in tons of power. I think 350rwhp would be plenty for what I do with my truck. I am more interested in low and mid range torque than top end horsepower.
