Cam choice will also be a big factor in how it will feel down low regardless of your CR.

what would be a good cam? the 228 232 114 want cut it or will it?

I would simply advise against a reverse split turbo cam on a low CR engine if your worried about low end driveability. And if you do go that route stall it big. I'm not a cam guru like alot of people are though soo...

ya i see what you are saying...i use to like it to hit a little...but now i just want power....i know the LS6 cam is good in 6.0s and such but idk about a 408..i will call tom nelson on monday to see what he thinks.
