Umm, its junk for sure....lol. Sounds like the shaft broke in two. I would suggest a TC unit or a PTE if you have the budget.

My garret 67 took a crap on me couple of weeks ago. Sounded at first like the breaks where squeaking cause I could only hear it when I was coming to a stop. I checked the shaft play in the turbo and had little play (like normal) did not think anything of it. When I cranked up the boost it got worse where it make the noise all the time. Like someone draggin some chains on t
he ground. Checked the shaft again and it had all kinds of play. Took the compresser housing off and this is what I found. I am goin with mp t70 a next week or so. Having to use a freinds pt t76bb. Good luck to ya!!!

my shaft broke in half...not sure what wouldve caused that. Especially since I was never in boost while breaking the motor in. An expensive fix for sure.
