My bad.....03' 5.3 liter, dual exhaust, custom tune,Amsoil air cleaner(which Im real impressed with by the way).I got a few different smaller pulleys. But I wouldnt mind knowing a heads up of what size will typically put what numbers.(without pulling the belt and slapping on another pulley and checking the boost and maybe saying whoops....10-12 psi....so that sounds WAS the transmission)you get the drift.

yeah on a 5.3 with exhaust you might be getting 6lbs from the 3.3" pulley. Going down to a 3.2" pulley gave me fantastic results and netted me 8lbs. Your trans already hates you. Do something with it before upping boost.

I put in billet servos and a transgo shift kit.I realize my trans hates me....even with the bigger 35" tires its really holding a grudge. But today going down the freeway at 70 mph my instant economy bounced in between 18-19 mph.(I realize that doesnt pertain to any of this...but I was impressed).Yeah I think Ill keep the same size pulley on because Im probably already walking on thin ice as it is.i was just curious as to different pulleys for different boost numbers. Thanks for the info Trevor.

I'm running a 3.3" pulley and seeing 7 psi with stock heads, full exhaust and small cam on my 5.3L.
