What kinda horsepower gains would the p1sc procharger get on stock 5.3l?

 

P1 is good up to around 550rwhp I think?

 

^^^ You could squeeze more from it on a proper set up. A few F bod guys have made 7xx whp

 

Bolting one to a bone stock truck (with fuel upgrades and tune)........I'd be impressed with a gain of about 170 rwhp.

 

I think all stock as it comes from procharger it's more like 125 hp

 

you can't get 400 rwhp out of an out of the box procharger kit on a stock truck? That would be about 170 on a 5.3 motor right? Those make about 230 rwhp stock don't they?

You'll have to forgive me.......I havent been around stock **** in a while.

 

i dunno on my P1 i havent dynoed it but the 1/8 miles calculator said i was around 430-450 rwhp on an 390 CI Ls motor with a 4l80e in my 97 truck and i'm running a 3.4 pulley at around max impeller speed and it only makes 6 lbs, really need a D1 at minimum
