Thumbs up Well well. I just picked up one of these lil suckers

In our quest as centri guys, to get the most boost down low, without having run a roots style blower, I decided to pick one of these up. I have often thought of a way to limit my max boost, but have it come in earlier in the rpms, have came up with a ways to do it, but never got around to actually making one. Turns out they think of everything Basically a manual wastegate for a centri blower.. I will let you guys know how or if it even works, but have a feeling it should do what its supposed to do.. So maybe I can pulley this thing way down, in hopes of getting more boost to come in much earlier..

Also thanks to a fellow member who enlightened me to this

Awesome, let us know how it works. I've heard of guys using an AMS1000 to accomplish the same thing. If it works as good, this looks to be a much easier/cheaper route, although adjustability on the fly won't be as easy.

Now you just need an 8-rib kit to spin that bitch to the max.

Maybe they will come out with one that's remote adjustable, like a remote bottle opener for a nitrous bottle. That would be *******.

From what the guy told me they will pre set it from the place to where you want it. In my case 10 psi. But should let me boost 13-14 psi on the blower. I talked to John at procharger, he said it would def work, but will make the blower work harder.. He figures the boost will come in 1000-1200 rpm sooner(guesstament), which case means faster acceleration So if it does infact bring it in earlier, WORK this could be great for us. I am going to try and get it on when it gets here, now I need to get a 3.20 pulley, pray that it doesn't slip LOL.. Will def keep you guys posted on it.. Man I hope it works, could make things alot more interesting.. Nione the less the proof will be in the pudding. We shall see BTW I do have one of these, but wanted to put on the 370, not the stocker, 10% overdriven

That thing is going to sound like a sandblaster when it starts dumping boost.
I bet it works down low but.. I am thinking you loose 75whp on the top.
more load on the compressor and more heat.

That's similar to what the cobalts use with their roots blowers. They are pullied down real low but the bypass begins to open at high rpms.
