Default well its not a truck but it is a 5.3l lm7

hey guys, just wanted to share my project with you all. its a 1972 240z with a 5.3l lm7 v8 and a gt4082 turbo charger. i fabbed up some simple log style headers that i think should work well. so far ive got most of the engine squared away....now for the body work.

Now that's just silly.... I'll test drive. This is one project that I want to see the end result.

That looks great man! What's the specs on that turbo? Also, what did you build the headers out of? Keep up the good work, looks like you still have a long way to go

Very cool. No power steering? Maybe also look at a C6 oil pan if the C5 batwing pan gives you fitment headaches. What is the vehicle weight you looking for?

the turbo is a garret GT40 with the 82mmm wheel, 3.5 inch v-band. i used mild steel for the headers although if i could do it again i would spend alittle extra for stainless steel.

these cars come from the factory without powersteering. i dont hear many people complaining about it. as you can see the wings fit nicely with the control arm mounts. also the ground clearencce is great. i may have to hack off the pas. side wing because of the 3.5 inch dp. even with that, it should hold more oil than the f-body pans.
