well i need new injectors!!

Matt and I went out and logged a few runs last nite and the results are in. at 5000rpms the injectors were maxed out. they were at 110% idc! at 5500 they were over 120% idc. id say i need some bigger ones. thats why my power fell off at 5500rpms. so what do i need to get. i have a buddy in town that has a set of 60# or 62# Seimens high impedence, on his 03 cobra that he will sell pretty cheap. but will these work on my truck and if so what modifications will i have to do? pigtails? i havnt changed inj. before other than putting the radix on. any help is appreciated.

you were also going a bit lean. I looked at the logs late last nite and the o2s started in the .880 range and droped to almost .800 I dont quit rem what AFR that translates to. I told ya last nite thats about where ya need to be but I have been used to tuning and logging N/A motors.

where was it going lean? he had me at 11.0 - 12.0 :1 the entire run on the dyno. it would steadily climb till 6000rpms. that should be safe. you think its going lean from the injectors being maxed?

does anyone know what ill need to have to make these inj. off of the cobra work. and how much should i ask for the inj. that i have now that came with the radix. and what brand are they and are they high impedence? thanks in advance.

My IDC went from 101% with a 3.1 pulley to 89% with a 2.9 pulley. I am using a single meth nozzle M15. I was also able to run 4 more degrees of timing with 3 more psi and it netted me 30rwhp and 50rwtq.
Just a thought...

The injectors off the cobra will work, but you will need LS1 pigtails. You will have to space the fuel rails up about 5/8 of an inch as well. Sell your used 42#ers for 250 shipped. Maybe a little less than that.
