Bill when I went to the 4L80E it felt like it fell on its butt coming off the line, and that was with the Radix. I went to 4.10's and it felt alot better. Now with the turbo I think I just need more converter than the 2800 I am running now.

Boy, those -3 lines sure come in handy. I used one to do a braided stainless line for the disc brake conversion on my bike.

The truck looks niiiiiice.

... I asked for a 2800 stall... on this new verter I'm gonna get. I figure if the gearing is too high (numericaly low) I'll probably start looking for a 14 bolt. I already have over $500 in the rear with the Auburn Pro diff... I figured if I'm gonna dump more then I would step up to a bigger diff. Hell, I don't know what I'm thinkin... I want daily driver reliability with infinite horsepower. The 2 just don't mix well. We'll see how the 80E feels when its installed... if it isn't hookin the way I like I may step up to 4.10's.

Keith, thanks. Ya, Earls makes some quality stuff... you would hardly ever know what off the shelf stuff they make unless you have a beer in your hand an are willing to sift through all of their products on Summit

BTW, AZSS, a buddy of mine, who had the 11.4 STS truck sold me his 4L80E install stuff. I now have a Speed Engineering crossmember, already modified for my setup, Hughes flywheel, a custom driveshaft, and the main tranny adaptor harness. Once I get the verter...

I just finished reading through your build. It is a very nice clean install The headers you got are defiantly a nice piece of work.
