I am a carb guy and I would never go with a carb and FI. I would go with the fuel injection just for tunability. I would go find a stand alone fuel injection that will allow you to use a program like HP tuners or EFI live so you can get your fueling fixed and also log your data to help with later tuning.

I think you would be fine with a carb, lots of people have done it before. EFI would be nice but can get expensive. What about an efi from a Ram Jet motor?

I believe I might know somone here in town or actually down the street from me that has a cast manifold and some other crap that would fit your motor. Pm me if your interested and I'll ask him what he wants for the stuff.

You should stick with a carb until somebody gets this fuel injection thing figured out.
Fuel injection is just a fad.

when running FI(forced induction) always use FI(fuel injection) to support it
