6.2 in a regular cab with factory 6l80e would be instant wood for me! God this would be perfect setup from the factory.. I hope GM listens too the masses about letting the 6.2 be a available factory drop in for the singlecabs

No kidding. If not, a block swap should be cake once GMPP starts supporting the new engine, and the new 5.3 will be making ten horsepower and five pound/feet of torque more than the LQ9 made stock, so it'll be fun while you wait.
However, the compression has been cranked up, so pistons are going to be necessary for any high boost build if you want to go crazier than a basic kit. It'll be interesting to see if the new direct injection will support ten pounds of boost on the stock compression ratio (with proper tuning, of course).
